Shutterbugs to the rescue...what's the best photography mag to get?

"shutterbug" decent magazine, along few others, i'm going recommend against getting education magazines. have 1 or 2 technical articles per issue, not come out in staged sequence. jump on place. better basic book on photography - book - relying on magazine articles.

surprisingly, "outdoor photographer" might have more instructional value others i've seen.

can recommend book excellent source beginner: "get digital camera," simon joinson.

sure not "everything" simon knows photography, sure started.

if beyond beginner stage, though, might find basic on topics.

i'd improve amateur photography skills.
