Why should i respect Hyundai? What have they accomplished that they beat Toyota, Honda, and Ford?

first of all, not dislike hyundai. not mean them either. far, alot of new cars such sonata 11' have been sucess, of these cars seem have transmision problems , etc. why should respect car company bad reputation? , makes on par other top companies ford, toyota , honda? alot of people dislike hyundai... tell me why should not 1 of them. thanks! dont have reasons hyundai... , lots of people tell me theyre crap. want open minded. thanks!
