i'm soon-to-be high school senior history of heavy involvement in backstage theatre--everything lights, set building , design, sound, stage-managing , directing. i'm looking apply schools solid theatre programs can broad undergrad study of theatre. eventually, i'd to go directing concentration in graduate school. have recommendations of universities theatre? love programs @ depaul, uiuc, , bu. have "theatre arts" or "theatre studies" programs broad, comprehensive, , customizable. they're hands-on studies of theatre through dabbling in bit of (though not on elementary level have lots of experience already), reading, , writing, lots of experience working on plays. directing place see myself going in future, want solid, broad theatre education that's not heavy on acting , involves decent liberal arts background. looking @ nyu well, can't seem sense of theatre program website. have recommendations of schools similar programs depaul, uiuc, , bu?
