Headlight trouble with 2004 Pontiac Sunfire?

girlfriend has 2004 pontiac sunfire. when puts parking lights on , drive, left 1 turns on , begins flash. flashing stops when taken out of drive, or e-brake pulled. also, when lo-beams turned on, left comes on. when hi-beams , turned, left lo-beam turns off, , right hi-beam turns on. ground good, no burned out fuses, changed relay in fuse box, , headlight/turn signal switch. bulbs good, no broken filaments. suggestions?
