Christian/Morals tattoo opinion question!?

on 1 side of family, tattoos alright. dad has tattoos, stepmom has them, aunts, uncles...they think it's cool. me getting tattoo pretty awesome in eyes.

on other side of family (the side live with), tattoos typically indicate you're giving on having semblance of career and/or christian, moral-based life. never hear end of if got tattoo.

know that, being college-aged, can make decision myself, isn't concern. don't know want tattoo, subject has come (in form of close friend acquiring tattoo), and, having been stuck in middle of these 2 ideas whole life far, have no idea think.

so. think whole tattoo thing? bad, or article of clothing can't take off?
