Witch hazel to brighten tattoo colors?

ummmm... thing have read, - having getting of tattoo, not refreshing old tattoos:

"carriers liquids used deliver pigments beneath skin. best carriers distribute pigment evenly, keep clumping when used, , provide bit of disinfecting action. of commonly used liquid carriers are:

* listerine
* witch hazel
* purified water
* propylene glycol
* vodka
* glycerine
"
witch hazel astringent. sister used use on face, when growing up.
can't see use on old tattoo effect.

know if put bit of lotion on brightens it. also, drop of oil make vibrant, don't go out in sun that! use sunblock when outdoors.

luck~

i out 1 night , had tattoo artist admire tattoos on back. told me little witch hazel brighten colors of older tattoo. else hear of that? or hurt tattoos?
