Who mostly banns books in the US?

books banned due censorship. there books have sexual things in it, can banned school or libraries. book "the color purple" , "the lord of flies". there books banned because of how characters act. in book "bridge terabithia" characters disrespect adults. "huckleberry finn", "of mice , men", , "to kill mockingbird" have been banned in libraries due racial slurs. "the harry potter" series banned in public libraries , schools because adults think confuses children , might lead them witchcraft.

guess depends on people believe of what's right or what's wrong, depending on how raised.
