Publish a book. how to publish?

there 2 ways go publish book. 1 sure thing: pay it, no expectation of selling who’s not friend or family, no matter how or how work and/or spend market it.

1 recommend not sure thing @ all. in fact, it’s competitive first efforts fail. if succeed, gets book chains barnes & noble, chapters, , borders, , independent book stores, too, vast majority of book sales happen. requires “real” publisher pays right print book, , markets it, including placing in stores.

big “name” publishers accept book manuscripts literary agents, using them screen out manuscripts aren’t sell books whatever reason.

literary agent, identify agents have sold other books yours. takes time , trips big bookstore, usually. jot down names of authors of similar books on bookstore shelves. @ home, search of each author's name, in quotation marks, , word agent , learn represents whom. visit querytracker.com, guidetoliteraryagents.com, , similar sites identify agents seeking work yours.
