student, can kind of "catch 22" in told creativity knows no bounds , there no hard , fast rules creating art. , told set of rules must follow , upon our work graded.

thing is, once leave confines of acedemia, artist's work stands alone , "judged" on own creative merits. since creative "value" subjective, 1 finds less judged on adherence rules , more on how observer "feels" it. old rules taught in school served point in direction closer might accepted public.

kind of on own projects. can play relatively safe applying rules taught in class and, there doesn't seem rule apply, feel free go nuts , experiment.
