How do I break into the finance industry?

i'd land job analyst. graduate next spring university of illinois major in econ , minor in business. know joining business oriented organizations key feel not have business/finance oriented material put on resume lot of friends do. extremely interested in macroeconomics , financial markets , follow financial news religiously (read wall street journal everyday). downside that, unlike of friends have majored in accounting and/or finance, not able land internship summer. although have never been without job throughout entire college career, jobs did have had nothing finance (i office assistant , lab assistant/researcher when bio major).

1 thing have going resume 1 of head coordinators small finance/investment club have in fraternity. @ least give me talk during interview (if can land 1 first).

also, graduate around 3.3 gpa , willing relocate major city in us.

in advance , advice!
