I need financial help getting a lawyer to get child support. Is there help out there?

live in state of tn near knoxville , i'm being told can't financial aid getting lawyer child support 1 year old. true? supposedly make much($10 hr,30 hrs week @ job) family's first, can't there. can't afford lawyer. ex , broke 7 months ago , has not paid dime. has job, doesn't want take care of her. it's not fair have on own. have suggestions?
