What was Aristotle's Philosophy about? or What did It Support?

3rd paragraph of what, asked explain "aristotle's philosophy"?!!! actually, think know meant. professor (?) asked explain "aristotle's philosophy" in 3rd paragraph of "philosophical question" explaining how write "philosophical paper".

maybe? maybe not?

reason arguable sarcasm above aristotle never use possessive noun or pronoun in conjunction term "philosophy" --- in "his or philosophy" or "socrates's philosophy", or "plato's philosophy" or, professor arguably mentioned, "aristotle's philosophy". because, aristotle , other philosophers of day , time, philosophy pursuit , "normative (behavioural) goal" in partake, if desired , had resources attempt pursuit. wisdom ("sophia") didn't belong person exclusively. , loving or being friends ("philo") wisdom ("sophia") wasn't individual's personal or possessive prerogative.

hence expression "aristotle's philosophy" have bewildered aristotle --- along socrates, plato , few hundred other ancient greeks entirely competent @ aristotle called "the philosophical sciences" --- (1) abstract mathematics (arithmetic, geometry), (2) physics , (3) theology (arguably mathematical astronomy --- given greek "cosmology" and/or "mythology" of planets , stars being "gods").

--- answer question. aristotle's alleged philosophy "about" finding out every wise person or supposedly wise person had said/thought-of every important question greek people --- or persians or egyptians; "barbarians"--- of "philosophical bent" or "philosophical attitude" had ever asked or others. tried sort out answers bad answers using logic he, himself, allegedly discovered/invented --- though aristotle, himself, deny (actually did deny) inventing or discovering logic himself.

has 1 great line should use in essay:- must hear our predecessors can profit wisdom, if any, , avoid errors. [he says in more 1 of many treatises.] in other words, aristotle listened "the wise" , tried take own advice learning wisdom , avoiding errors.

in sum, aristotle started out "philosophical historian". discovery of logic (probably plato , others @ academy involved "the researches" "the subject of reasoning" --- a.k.a. logic --- mentions @ close of 6th logic treatise entitled, "the sophistical refutations" --- treatise on fallacies, rather logic-proper), , other peripatetic friends (of wisdom) @ lyceum had powerful "tool" used weed out bad answers , continue asking , answering "philosophical questions" aristotle, himself, considered "infinite" process.

in short, aristotle:- seeking wisdom never "finished business". , using philosophical/scientific techniques (like logic) ask , answer questions never "done business" someone's/anyone's name attached ongoing process of "seeking or loving wisdom (philosophy)".

if want short "summary". aristotle used logic , doctrine of 4 causes of being (formal, material, efficient , final causes) put philosophy (considered seeking or pursuing of wisdom) on more rational , scientific basis had been case --- excepting socrates , plato "discovering logic" "pursued wisdom". socrates , plato aristotle's primary , best teachers, learned had on topic of philosophical/scientific interest.
