Help with dancing at school dances?

according friends i'm dancer. i've been dancing since 3 , picking choreography , etc @ school dances freeze , awkwardly stand there or walk around while of friends freaking or jumping , down haha. should do? never have fun because dont dance want to, have no clue do! sucks. majorly. question strange 1 have dance next week , have 2 more left until end of school year , want have fun @ dance once! haha appreciated :)
