older lund tiller 25-40hp kicker! 70's-80's aluminum lunds great boats! inexpensive , leave plenty of xtra money buy musky/pike lures, outfit's, terminal tackle, etc .

ok- wait! planning on fishing tournaments? if so, go artie's or jtex's suggestions. of boats respectable. however, doubt decent t boat within price range- never know........

however, you've stated in past want go after pike/musky- decent, (not great), musky outfit run @ least $200. lures go anywhere $8-$22 piece. decent power pro line- $30. oars. life-jackets. tackle-box. wet weather gear. down-riggers............................... point? starts add real quick! have $800 saved misc boat, tackle, outfit's etc?

understand- no matter brand of boat purchase- old boats need maintenance , have issues, (period).

prepared fix old 98 ranger got "a song" when find out tourney boat , "dogged" bad transom leaks? prepared fix transom or patch fiberglass hull? have tools or knowledge perform task????????????????????????????????????...

bigger boat bigger truck need haul it- have v8 or bigger truck?

trailer's need immediate work moment purchase used boat- have money set aside purchase new bearings, wheels, tires, buddy bearings, etc?

in opinion, first time boat owner & fisherman boat least amount of "bells , whistles"!

straight forward , maintained- , friend can row shore if motor goes on fritz! (lol)
