How reliable is the Toyota Celica?

had 1 (2004) new 3 years , didn't live reputation toyota have.

never broke down or wouldn't start, had lot of issues fixed under warranty.

when go wrong celica expensive fix.

of issues had common other people experienced same.

car, not built expect.

i wondering how reliable toyota celica (the 1 99 onwards) should avoid ones on 100,000 miles. how reliable in comparison mk4 golf. thanks
