How can I get into theater?

i'm 27 now. in couple of theater productions in middle , high school, shy go further. love acting though, , theater , movies. love participate on stage or on screen. i'm @ point in life can devote time , energy need persuing dream of mine, have no idea start! i'm town called amarillo in northwest texas.

have insight? ideas on find relevant audition materials? advice appreciated!
