Does small business owners understand tax?

do, majority of them don't know small business tax incentives.

many small businesses here in downtown seattle don't seem grasp notion of taxes in general. hire 'under-the-table' workers (thus avoiding paying fica , unemployment taxes), don't seem ring things (avoiding/violating state sales tax laws), , i'm sure many of them don't report business' earnings either, evading federal , state taxes there well.

do know there tax incentives available them?
