What's life like as a USAF Aircraft Maintenance Officer?

lots , lots of paper pushing.

not aircraft ,maintenance, nor taught doing aircraft maintenance.

nominally officer in charge of maintenance branch, in reality, ncoic runs branch.

@ last duty station, never knew branch officer branch was. never saw them during entire tour.

2. job track man hours worked, trends in maintenance, scheduling of maintenance, etc.
