Are the people who openly advertise their homosexuality just making themselves a target?

i'm not saying homosexuals can't have relationship dislike when advertise sexual life being gay or lesbian or whatever in public. don't want know other people nor want know if homosexual. same straight couples...i find disturbing when blabber sex lives.

when homosexuals it, it's making target homophobic people. have friend gay. doesn't advertise homosexuality public no 1 notices. if bet people staring @ him , making jokes him in face.

opinion on situation?
