lower overheads; cheaper utilities, cheaper labour, cheaper raw materials, lower taxes, untapped markets

benefit country: shows stability if international companies investing in country, other companies follow suit, inspires multi-cultural society; expats may come , work, stronger international ties other nations, can lead foreign trade deals/agreements, can result in economic development

-benefit company;
-problems company;
-benefits other countries;
-problems other countries.
