What is the philosophy of the surrealism art movement?


surrealism influenced freudian psychoanalysis , through developed 'automatism'. it's painting in subconscious, without restriction http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/surrealist_...

pop art: it's philosophy turning common thing art response increasing visuality in modern times (in tabloids, ads etc.) it's not quite clear if appreciation of increasing wealth after wwii or if satirical, critical view development (thesis is, has changed: 50ies: positive response increasing wealth, 60ies critique on political developments , way society dealt them (or did not deal them)

i studying art history , unable find information on philosophy of surrealism, philosophy of pop art movement. appreciate help!
