Aquarium Photography with Canon Rebel xsi 450D?

hello all,

have been working @ local aquarium , have seen many visitors take fantastic pictures fancy cameras. photography , purchased canon rebel xsi 450d. love camera , highly recommend looking camera travel , small trips.

question is... how take fantastic photos of fish , other marine animals without having glare or blur subjects moving fast. have done research have not come across , suggestions camera in particular, thought ask guys. understand flash can or bad idea. don't have rubber hood, placing camera against glass bad idea? setting should use? sports, stop moving subject? should set iso speed to? suggestions on how take pictures of sharks, in dark waters little light in water? have green sea turtle favorite animal there. see above water, setting/ iso speed suggest there?

suggestions? right now.
