How long will these aircraft be around?
757 no longer in production. pointed out, it's role being filled aircraft.
747 getting update, 747-8. compete a380 smaller less busy routes. don't think boeing intending larger aircraft yet.
767 stop being produced shortly because 787 same size, better range , fuel efficiency.
airbus supposed start on it's a350 soon, compete 787. a350 cover same seat , range segment a330/a340, once a350 enters production, a330/a340 end production.
777 has no equal on super-long haul routes yet. not 747, nor 767, nor 787 can match 777 range. not mention -300er , -200lr recent models, expect plane in production awhile yet.
737 wildly successful aircraft. a320. airbus , boeing have ante on these aircraft; embraer entering seat/range segment e-190s. bombardier entering market c-series.
how long exactly? well, wishy washy. it's not uncommon airliner fly 30 years or more. production runs vary depending on how money being made in selling aircraft.
how long boeing 737, 747, 767, 777, 787, a330, a320 , 757 around for? heard they're canceling 757 program; why can't start program 757 did 737?
