How do you know a hose has busted on your boat?

if indeed outboard, , suds floating around - would't suggest go swimming... lol

if inboard engine, open hatch engine compartment (with engine running) , take , inspection of hoses - glove or tool touch them, , wiggle them little... if coming engine, see it.

(not many) boats have sink , shower drain bilge, , bilge pump - pumps out... if vessel this, source of suds...

luck...
