2001 Nissan maxima oil?

bought 2001 nissan maxima 5 speed (in way try old i30, wanted 5 speed manual instead of 4 speed) running mobile 1 5w-30 fram 6x oil gaurd, wondering if other previous/current vq30de (-k) motor owners know these engines oil? also, capacity 4.3l correct? should try quaker state q horsepower?. want car last forever! (i know of time)
