Community Theatre in jeopardy?

live in small town , 1 of favorite places local community theatre. have been in several plays , productions there , find place near heart, many members of community. theatre building shared local symphony orchestra. lately, money has been rough , board of directors has decided can no longer fund position of manager man directs deal of plays not have job there. drama department killed. looking way save position , thing can think of applying government grant of sort. bigger having car wash or bake sale, looking sustain manager's position long enough sustainable solution created. know of government arts grants, other sources of free money, or other solution ideas @ used theatre? appreciated.
