My '95 Pontiac Grand Am has 213,2XX Miles, Is that good? ( Plus More Q's )?

wondering few things it, have v6 engine runs beatuifully love how fast can start off at.. not on v4 , l4 engines have drove.. curious if many miles still having no problems @ all. rear-ended once thats it.. have changed tires 1 time , engine has never had work done it, sign?

looking buy newer '09 pontiac g5 gt , wondering if 2.2 l4 able start off fast car can? acceration mean.. has 155 horsepower , 150 pound-feet of torque. grand has has 155 hp , 185 torque, pretty sure have 3.1v6.

appreciated! mean there 14 years of technology in between right?
