What is that coating you put on sculptures to make them look ancient?

can use paint. use dark shade umbra , wipe off while still wet. make paint stay in recesses give aged look. if want effect aged metal or else need @ want copy , try figure out colors give needed effect. keep in mind several layers of thin washes work better trying in 1 coat of paint.

you know sculptures have nice coating on them make them ancient , old? that? want make sculpture out of foil , paper mache paint , give "final coating" make ancient.
