Do i need much experience performing as a singer to get a record deal if i am 14 years old?

wondering because harder find places perform @ age, have performed alot on stage school plays , performing arts groups, of time singing solo parts. have taken part in school talent show once, , got second round out of three, wasnt allowed compete in final round because said young :( 2 years ago. love performing , singing infront of people , write own material, recording demo in couple of days wondering else need , need next stand chance of getting record deal?
