Theater seating problem.....?

today's modern movie theater seats on average 22-inches wide, measured center of 1 of chairs' armrest on center of it's other armrest. in 1990's amc used 20 inch wide chairs throughout usa, in last 10 years have converted theaters wider 22 inch because, quite frankly, american have gotten wider. muvico uses 22 inch standard width. not there exceptions. vip seating areas in theaters, theaters offering stadium-style seating, become more , more popular. (they cost couple of bucks more when buy ticket too.) these chairs 24 or more inches wide. check out dimensions of typical theater seats @ http://www.celebrityseating.com/product.php?page_id=cinema-star-rocker-theater-seating can see 22, 23, , 24 inch wide theater seat.i think step-dad fine in 22 inch wide chairs. home theater owners put real movie theater seats in homes choose 22 inch model. plus theater seats rated hold 450 pounds.
multi-plex movie theaters have auditoriums ranging 85 theater seats 300+ theater seats. new movie releases first shown in larger auditoriums , after couple of weeks moved in , shown in smaller auditoriums, making room next 'new releases'. unless it's movie avatar, stayed in large auditoriums 2 months!

ok, know random question know how big seats in normal amc theater? like, how can hold? stepdad , going movies , hes pretty big guy. hasn't been movies in ages , want fun him.
