What should I draw today?

i'm listing categories & when choose individual items these categories, list become huge ;-))) moreover, can choose various categories make drawing tell "story".

- sky [ day & night sky] -- sun, moon, clouds, stars, ......
- elements - rain, fire, water, land, ....
- beaches - sand, oceans, surfers, shells, driftwood, tides, ...
- aquatic life - algae, whales, sharks, octopus, coral reefs, deep-sea divers, ....
- islands, boats, ships, nets, trawlers, anglers, ....
- still-life -- & objects @ home, using different light sources & perspectives, shadows & reflections
- yourself, friends & family - portraits, caricatures, ....
- nature window -- trees, neighborhood, lawns, birds, ....
- animals, including pets
- birds
- plants, trees, flowers, bees & butterflies.....
- humans performing various activities – series of dancers eg.
- transport systems - bus, car, train, plane, spaceship, ufo, ....
- architectural marvels, buildings, sheds, ....
- dreams & fantasies
- mythical & mythological forms/creatures
- mountains, rivers, landscapes, .....
- anatomy
list can go on & on ;-)

can change same sketch
- drawing close-ups, or 'long-shots'
- drawing realistically, in cartoon form or fantasy forms
- changing light source, direction & intensity, including night-time
- drawing outlines or including shading & shadows [2-d v/s 3-d effect]
- using different types of pencils, charcoal, ..... &/or colors - water, oil, acrylic, crayons, pencils, glitter, glass paints, mosaic-work,....
- changing perspective & angle
- using surrealism, cubism, abstract forms... ....
may can go wild ;-)) use diff techniques & media - including pastels, crayons, oils, cut-n-paste, mosaic, cartoon-drawing, symbolism, etc....
- check out old greeting cards, magazines, net images, comic books, etc. ideas. use these ideas create own drawing.
- make 'series' of 1 thing. different ways of going :
eg. flowers - have 15 different types of flowers in 15 drawings;
or, have same flower [eg. rose] depicted in different ways - eg. in close-up, in garden, bee humming on it, bouquet, in dried-petal arrangement [glued] along dried leaves/herbs, & on;
or, each life-stage of flower;
or change light source, light intensity, colors [from black n white monochrome multicolored]
- paint series on school-related stuff. eg. different rooms in school, or diff articles of school usage, school colors & emblem, diff activities @ school, diff moods of students @ school, & on.

how trying visualize & draw emotions / traits, etc. eg. courage, love, fear, hate, perseverance, peace, joy, kindness, naivety, etc.

depict life stages or rites of passage such birth, death, adulthood, maturation, childishness, teenage years, mid-life crisis, old age, senility, marriage, widowhood, becoming grandparent,....

think of "story", incident, issue, quotation, joke, ... & try depict them through sketches.

can choose characters book, comic, film, poem, etc. & develop them visually. draw them "see" them.

or of above, whole spectrum of emotions, expressions, positive-to-negative, , on.

how thinking of : rainy day ; horrible night ; monstrous task ; traffic jam ; vacationing in mountains ...... , try put whole image together.
