Brief history of south brisbane?

well, can tell far school days. 25 years ago absolute pit. there lot of grotty dilapidated housing , wouldn't have walked through musgrave park reason. there lot of crazy people.... e.g. old guy wore superman suit , sat on fence everymorning child's teaset, pretending drink tea , saying hello school kids had walk past - 1 of more normal ones. i'm guessing fact buy refrigerated methylated spirits corner store near vulture st station contributed type of behaviour in area.

brisbane hosted expo 88 , literally overnight bizarre factor vanished, followed bulldozers efficiently erasing housing - musgrave park wasn't bad place have lunch. after expo worked 2 years on south bank redevelopment , it's "must see" place in brisbane.

further of there strong history of shipping, , war related stuff... can't pull details out of memory banks though.

can please tell me brief history of south brisbane
