Tips for painting realistic faces with acrylic paints?

love paint , familiar acrylics, favorite. next project, want paint portrait. never painted humans before (like skin, wrinkles, highlights in face, etc..) familiar faces , facial structure because i've done plenty of portrait sketches. have tips of tricks doing paint? thanks!
