What to do about creditor -NCO Financial Services?

dodge creditors past - bad, im not one.
have been calling dad , has told them doesnt know am. (we live in different state when had credit problems)
today called dad , threatened him saying sheriff @ house tommorrow me. dad call them!
call , walmart credit card 2004 - says owe 1800. , settle 1200.
(im thinking card 500 - know wasnt much)
tell im income of family struggle feed kids!
tells me can take payment today 400 - im tell again...i struggle feed kids getting money from?!!
gotta call in day or two.
says take me court , garnish paycheck.
ironics accounting @ job, lol. have had garnishments hospitals/healthcare ive never had credit card go garnishment.
they?
did ask if garnishment full of 1800? tells me plus legal fees,ect 2000.
total of 3800!!
okay should now?
offer payment plan? cant anywhere near want - cant afford much. (30.00?)
or scareing me telling me court/garnishment?
if 1800 id continue garnishment fees more owe.
