yes regular theaters can show movie in 3d, theater has have bought 3d projector. show in 2d, have online theater has 3d showing of avatar. go fandango.com , put in zip code , @ show times of movies. if see listing of avatar no 3d after in 2d. may have put in near cities find listing of avatar 3d. if find listing of avatar 3d can show 3d movies.

im going see alice in wonderland birthday after comes out , saw it's in 3d in imax don't have imax theater near us. 3d in regular theaters too?
