Is Phoenix Gold a good car audio company?

phoenix gold decent not great. bigger problem see paying $180 each rsd's. cost $50 each online , $75 each in local car audio shop.

i considering purchasing 2 12" phoenix gold rsd subwoofers, , wanted confirmation on whether or not these subs. don't want pay 180 dollars per sub have them suck. plus, stats fit amp i've got (mbquart onx1.1000d).
