How does art help us in acquiring knowledge?

in academic sense, principles , elements of art , design tools communicate. works of art designed solve specific communication problems , point(s) across.

there many different ways achieve goal of communication. artists project own emotional responds reflections in works. others tap subjective personal sensitivities , apply them in objective ways. aims evoke emotional understanding , responds, via features of human psyche.

knowledge understanding , application of information, therefore art applied communicate information , facilitate how knowledge works.

i doing essay of philosophy of art..i need ideas , opinions....thx
