bit say, still 90 years go. i'd late 20th century decline. analytic philosophy in pathetic state, , continental philosophy hasn't kept pace. don't consider postmodern thought have relevance in overall scheme of philosophy. broke off tradition in 60's , living on island can tell. philosophy in desperate need of new blood.
