Does anybody know if it's possible to make money selling a book of poetry?

bit ahead of yourself: unless have extremely solid academic reputation, nobel prize winner or celebrity, virtually impossible publish poetry book start with. poets begin publishing single pieces in magazines, , work way virtually unknown slightly-more-read (which still means audiences of few hundreds), anthologies, then, if lucky , persistent, books.
if want go way, have 1 piece of advice you: never, in no case, pay anything, reading fees, publishing contributions, , forth. there lot of people out there preying on wanna-be poets.

i write poetry, want make book out of it. don't know if people buy poetry books anymore possible make money if decide make poetry book?
