Excessive electronics corrosion on my boat?

if had replace alternator twice, using "marine" grade alternator? if not, that's problem. automotive grade replacement parts not hold in marine environment. differences "marine" grade parts sealed , or grounded minimize open sparks reduce chance of explosions gas fumes. people believe parts same boat , car, aren't.

what can cause excessive corrosion in electrical system on boat ? i've had replace 2 alternators ,is there common cause this? 5.0 mercuriser engine single battery 12 volt electric system
