Electrical aspect of the BIG 3 upgrade for car audio?

ok. not going ask question in car audio since know answer be. wan't real answers on current/electrical happenings here. in car audio people have voltage drops amps because alternator can't keep current demands inturn fry alternator strain. high output alternamter solve people can't afford opt big 3 instead. big 3 replacing stock charging system wires 0 gauge in car allow more current flow amp less voltage drops. quite bit. being said question if 0 guage wiring upgrade allows more current flow alternator amps not put more strain on alternator using stock 8 gauge wire , defeat purpose of whole thing begin trying save alternator. follow me?
