birthright citizenship act of 2009 (hr1868) not nor can make "natural born citizen." adds conditions citizenship birth.
congressman nathan deal (r-georgia) has introduced in house birthright citizenship act of 2009. stated purpose of bill amend section 301 of immigration , nationality act clarify classes of individuals born in united states nationals , citizens of united states @ birth. bill included on opencongress.org web site @ http://www.opencongress.org/bill/111-h18... summary of bill @ site states following:

“opencongress summary: bill eliminate birthright citizenship children born undocumented immigrants in u.s. current u.s. law automatically recognizes person born on american soil natural born citizen. under bill, children @ least 1 parent u.s. citizen, legal permanent resident, or undocumented immigrant serving in military considered citizens.”

summary contains serious error. states “current u.s. law automatically recognizes person born on american soil natural born citizen” (emphasis supplied). not correct statement of law.

legal statement referring citizenship contained in fourteenth amendment , congressional acts. former refers “citizens of united states , of state wherein reside. . .” , latter “citizen.” there absolutely no mention in amendment or statutes of “natural born citizen.” there no supreme court decision says article ii “natural born citizen” same article i, ii, iii, , iv , fourteenth amendment “citizen.”

.. continue allow soak billions of tax dollars.
