What to do with my money?

hi, have tough situation on hands.

first, give brief description of me:

moved canada when 16
first 2 years in canada had study permit , finished high school.
in 3rd year temp citizen parents waiting our permanent residence.
planning on going college our papers didn't arrive on time.

have been sitting @ home since june'08 waiting our papers can have life.
not allowed employed or study on visitors visa. (we have been waiting since aug'06)

out of boredom/frustration started online business , affiliate marketing. these companies getting paid in us.
have canadian bank account , using deposit checks receive.

now, getting worried legal issues. how taxes work me? allowed this? cant see why not since making money anywhere in world , i'm not employed in canada. have been saving of money , i'm scared buy big things such car due taxes , maybe asked got money from?
thing if had go home country, how take of money me? know there's limits amount of money allowed carry when go through customs.
