What kinds of enginge swaps could you do in a Subaru Impreza?

usually, engine ever swapped wrx sti or 2006+ wrx 2.5l. reason why should swap 2.5 if want run large turbo generate lot of lag 2.0l, has better overall low , mid range torque. on stock 2.5, boost peaks @ 11.6 psi doesn't matter because if swapping engines, odds putting in larger turbo. yea, dont know of other engines commonly dropped wrx, , personally, thats other engine think putting in mine.

i have 2003 subaru impreza wrx 2 liter. know other imprezas have 2.5 liter engines, aside other kinds of engines people drop things?
