How can I advertise my blog site?

own few websites , advertise them on craigslist.com cause it's free. can post things blog in "community" section of craigslist or in "discussion forum". have hit counter? if not can set 1 up, they're free. way can see how many people going blog , coming from.

i love blog, made free website. 1 person reads blogs, , i'm not sure how advertise website. don't have money spend on it, pretty hard. have ideas how can people read blog?
