What is the cheapest light bike for commuting ?

everyday commuting tough on bikes. keep in mind costs of traveling work every day. bike long term investment pays on period of time, @ comparative cost of car or public transportation on say, 2 years. if spend small amount of money on bike, buying before long. if buy bike designed day day grind of transporting you, last years, pleasant ride, , pay many times over. cheap bike false economy, costly in repairs, won't last long, , drudgery ride

i dont know call them, have thin wheels, light frame.

until have found £250 major retailer , £150 private seller. have no idea quality of them, , if spend these money or less want buy good.
