How is the distinction between eastern & western philosophy?
unfortunately, "justice" entirely wrong. western philosophy entirely based on empirical tradition set aristotle, , deals properties of things. kant brought issue forefront "transcendentalism", in mind had "phenomena" (properties) vs. noumena (that unknowable.)
biggest difference between them can figure way deal consciousness. eastern philosophies "tend" work on principle consciousness creates reality. called primacy of consciousness in modern cognitive epistemology. western philosophy (usually) teaches "existence exists", e.g., a=a, or called law of identity defined aristotle. idea existence not require consciousness aware of exist called primacy of existence.
