I own a 1996 Pontiac Firebird with a TPS idle problem?

own 1996 pontiac firebird 3.8l. ran great. yesterday friend decided mess around tps without me knowing. can't remember did , when come stop idles @ 2000rpm. car standard. , idles high before take off have wait die down normal. it's not big issue gets annoying. need know if there way tps needs set up, or easy. don't want have buy new one. ideas?
