How do the aircraft differ between the Air Force and Marines?

marines use attack aircraft/helicopters whereas air force has attack/fighter/bomber/transport/tanker/s... , has lot more of them. role of mc naval infantry. lot of budget tied ground forces. air force's role air superiority. of budget tied aircraft. , golf courses.

air force has many planes marines don't...such f-15, f-16, f-22, ac-130, c-5, c-141 (is still operational?), c-17, e3 sentry awacs, air force one...

marines fly f/a-18 hornet, av-8b harrier, f-35b (marine short take-off/vertical landing version) replace av-8b, ah-1 cobra attack helicopter, uh-1 hueys, ch-53e super stallion, vh-3a vip transport, ch-46 sea kings, mv-22b osprey, ea-6b prowler, marine one...

note: not aircrafts each branch flies...but idea.

i'm getting marine plc contract guarantees aviation, wondering out of curiosity. air force have planes or helos marines don't or same, or modified versions of same planes?
