What happened the the air conditioner in my 99 Volkswagen Jetta?

water blowing out of air vents indicate drain line plugged , water pooling in bottom of air ducts , possibly blocking cold air flow ac cooling coil. you're talking 12-year-old car here, , system has never been cleaned or serviced. if town has auto ac shop, wouldn't hurt checked out professional.

a few weeks ago noticed water condensing around vents in car when running ac. , air conditioner not blow cold air. power of air flow has not changed , heat works fine. ideas? need freon or there maybe bigger problem? much!
